三名泉と呼ばれた有馬温泉
Arima Onsen, one of the three most famous hot springs in Japan since long ago.
兵庫県にある有馬温泉は、日本書記にも記載されているほど歴史ある温泉で、室町時代から名泉として親しまれてきました。
戦国武将の豊臣秀吉も有馬温泉へあしげく通っていたそうです。
現在も、多くの人が有馬温泉を訪れ、日々の疲れを癒しています。
Arima Onsen in Hyogo Prefecture is a hot spring with such a long history that it is mentioned in theNihonsyoki, and has been a well-known hot spring since the Muromachi period (1336-1573).
It is said that the warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi was a frequent visitor to Arima Onsen.
Even today, many people visit Arima Onsen to relieve their daily fatigue.
有馬温泉の泉質
Spring Quality of Arima Onsen
有馬温泉には、「金泉」と「銀泉」があり、それぞれ違う効能があります。
Arima Onsen has “gold spring” and “silver spring,” each with different benefits.
「金泉」・・・含鉄ナトリウム塩化物強塩高温泉。（参考：有馬温泉より）
色は茶色。
“Gold spring” — Iron containing sodium chloride strong salt high hot spring. (Reference:

Brown in color.
「銀泉」・・・二酸化炭素泉、微量のラドンを含んだ放射能泉の２種類（参考：有馬温泉より）
色は無色透明。
“Silver spring“: carbon dioxide spring and radioactive spring containing trace amounts of
radon (reference: from Arima Onsen).
The color is clear and colorless.
筆者は、上記２種類を楽しめて、ご飯なども食べられる「太閤の湯」へ行くことに。

有馬温泉街には、温泉だけじゃなく、様々なお店がひしめきあっています。
お饅頭屋さんがあったり、お土産屋さんがあったり、オシャレなcafeなんかもあります。
また、少し山のほうに歩けば、釣り堀ができたりと、温泉以外の楽しみ方も豊富です。
Arima Onsen Town is not only a hot spring resort, but also a place where you can find a variety of stores.
There are also manjuu (steamed bun) shops, souvenir shops, and fashionable cafes.
If you walk a little further up the mountain, you will find a fishing pond, and there are many other ways to enjoy the area besides hot springs.
