About Our Vacation Rental
Location and Surroundings
Our vacation rental is located in a quiet, safe residential area of Osaka, conveniently situated 4 minutes by train from Umeda (Osaka Station), 8 minutes by train from Namba, and 7 minutes by train from Universal Studios Japan. Public transportation is easily accessible, with a 5-minute walk to Tamagawa Subway Station and an 8-minute walk to Noda Station on the JR Loop Line. Kyoto and Nara are also less than an hour away by train.
Accommodation Features
Our property is a renovated traditional Japanese townhouse (nagaya) that is over 80 years old. The nagaya, a style of housing where neighbors are in close proximity, has been a staple of commercial Osaka life since the Taisho era (1912-1926). Today, the number of these historical townhouses is dwindling, and those available for accommodation are even rarer. You can hear the voices of neighbors and people walking along the streets, offering a nostalgic glimpse into traditional Japanese life, making you feel as if you’ve returned to a relative’s home in Japan.
We offer the best of both worlds with modern amenities like free Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable living area, all within a traditional Japanese setting.
